Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in any medical faculty)
- Certified Medical Billing and Coding professional (CPC) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical billing and coding, preferably in a US healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of US healthcare insurance and reimbursement processes.
- Experience managing and leading a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
Job Description:
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the medical billing processes for our US-based company and our sub-office located in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. You will ensure accurate and timely claim submission, manage denials and appeals, and stay up-to-date on all relevant coding and billing regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the medical billing team in both the US and Rawalpindi offices.
- Ensure accurate and timely coding and billing of medical claims according to US healthcare standards (ICD-10, CPT).
- Submit claims electronically and follow up on claim status.
- Manage denials and appeals to maximize reimbursement.
- Stay up-to-date on all relevant coding and billing regulations.
- Generate reports and analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in medical billing software and terminology
Salary & Benefits: 100,000 – 125,000 PKR/Month
