Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8 Years’ experience in QA Operations and EHS Activities of packaging industry
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Sound knowledge of SQC tools, Advanced knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, lab testing equipment in Printing & Packaging Industry and customer technical audits.
- Good understanding of safety practices & standards, quality assessment tools and practices (SQC, 5 why’s & RCA techniques, A3, Lean, six sigmas etc.)
- Sound knowledge of EHS Standards (such as OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, SA 8000, FSSC, FSC, SCLP), Safety equipment, job hazard assessment technique, Training module development, Risk assessment, Legal requirements in EHS and internal audit procedures.
- Expertise in new product development, BOM Creation, understanding of customer needs, Color management & an eye for detail.
