Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional licensure as an architect (RA) is required.
- Proven experience (15 years) in architectural design and project management, with a focus on commercial and residential sites.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and build lasting relationships.
- Proficiency in architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of architects, designers, and drafters, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure project objectives are met effectively.
- Oversee the design and development of commercial and residential sites, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints, and translate them into actionable architectural solutions.
- Conduct site visits, assessments, and evaluations to gather relevant data and insights, informing the design process and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the architectural department, leveraging emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends to enhance efficiency, productivity, and outcomes.
- Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and external partners, negotiating contracts, resolving disputes, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials and services.
- Stay abreast of regulatory requirements, building codes, zoning laws, and environmental standards, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide strategic direction and vision for the architectural department, setting goals, defining priorities, and developing strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations to senior management, highlighting project status, performance metrics, and recommendations for improvement.
