The Inventory Manager plays a critical role in ensuring optimal inventory levels, efficient warehouse operations, and accurate tracking of materials and finished goods.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
- Conducts audits to ensure inventory accuracy and coordinates with procurement for stock replenishment.
- Maximizes space utilization and enforces proper storage methods to preserve product quality.
- Ensures compliance with safety regulations for warehouse operations.
- Utilizes inventory management software and ERP system to track movements, monitor stock levels, and generate reports.
- Analyzes data to forecast demand and makes informed decisions on stock allocation.
- Collaborates with the quality control team to maintain product standards.
- Conducts inspections and implements corrective actions for non-conforming products.
- Leads and mentors inventory staff, fostering teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Delegates tasks effectively to ensure efficient workflow.
