Job responsibilities include the following task on a daily basis, these include the following: 

• Maintaining and increasing sources of income – analyzing and reporting on threats and opportunities 
• Understanding of the financial implications of contract changes and legislation 
• Maximizing income and Minimizing expenditure 
• Processing of income and expenditure information on Xero  
• Record-keeping on office 365 one drive and Xero Cloud accounting  
• Cash-flow monitoring and forecasting and budgeting.  
• Management of bank accounts and reconciliation along with petty cash.  
• Purchase and sales ledger processing in Xero  
• Liaising with the practice accountant and other stakeholders.  
• Understanding of Budget / Service Codes (Cost Centres & Revenue Centre) 
• Payroll reconciliation journals and re-allocations of control accounts and journal entries on Xero  
• NHS Pensions administration and reconciliation statements  
• Accrual and Prepayment journals and reconciliation  
• Aged payable reports weekly and supplier reconciliation  
• Monthly management board reports and pack.  (P&L, Balance Sheet, Budget vs Actual) 
• Aged debtor report and debt follow up and reconciliation.  
• Year-end trial balance reconciliations  
• Ad hoc Financial Analysis and reporting as required with Graphs and Visulaition.  
• Strong English communication skills (drafting emails/letters for internal and external stake holder) 
• Outlook, One Drive, Word, Excel, Power Point  

The role is a full-time role Monday to Saturday (40.00 hours per week) 

The ideal candidate is expected to have ACCA accounting qualification and at least 3 years of working experience in practice and industry.
