Qualification & Experience:

  • Master/Bachelors/MBA/M.Com./MSc Supply Chain Management/Finance/Marketing
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Retail Industry, Business Development, Store Management.
  • Expertise in Store employee’s management, Safety & Security, Lost Prevention and Customer Services
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Retail Operations: Responsible for managing and supervising retail operations activities. 
  • Inventory Management: Responsible for the stock/inventory, and manage inventory shortage of store. 
  • Sales Management: Deliver Monthly/Quarter/ Annual sales plan and ensure P&L management 
  • Staff Management: Management and development of staff.
  • Administrative Control: Safety and security matters. 
  • VM: Development of the shop including successful execution of VM guidelines, sales promotions and seasonal campaigns. 

Job Duties:

  • Financial Management – POS operation, daily sales report, sales target achievement and conversion rate.
  • Floor Management – Sales staff availability, displaying items clubbed by category, style and sizes, best seller and replenishment.
  • Store Image – Making sure the store image comply with company standards, ensure cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring floor maps are followed and well executed, ensuring all necessary changes in information tagged with the merchandise as per company policy, ensure that the overall store ambiance is maintained as per the given checklist.
  • Staff Management – Ensure staff grooming and hygiene is maintained, manage staff scheduling, keeping the team motivated, and identify necessary training needs of staff, keeping a track of the performance management, attendance control, and ensuring that discipline is maintained.
  • Customer Management – Operating with the customer-centric approach yet complying with company’s policy while dealing with customers, ensuring proper complaint and claim handling as per the customer service policy, maintaining proper customer database.
  • Product Knowledge – Develop your own product knowledge and that of the team, by using Outfitters training manuals and other training opportunities.  Ensure that product knowledge is used effectively in assisting customers in their product choice.
  • Product and Inventory Management – Organization of the merchandise in store and stock room, ensuring that the record of the inventory is being maintained, ensuring distribution of garments as per the merchandise replenishment system being used, ensuring accurate record keeping for all day to day matters (sales, damaged product records), maintaining all records of IST’s and TO creation, ensuring all necessary tags and information stays updated. Inventory and shrinkage control through improvement of process and organization. 
  • Control of Shop Facilities – Ensuring control and security measures at the store premises, making sure that all appliances are working as per requirement (air conditioning, CCTV’s sensors, detectors), ensuring all health and safety standards are being met as per the company policy.
  • Administration – Ensuring overall administration and day to day operations of the store are well managed, ensuring timely opening and closing of the store, ensure all company’s policies are followed and operations are executed in accordance to those policies, responsible for overall safety and security of the store.
